Common Anxiety Symptoms

Anxiety is a result of having an overactive fight or flight response, which results in physical and mental distress, symptoms can include but are not limited to:

  • Excessively worrying

  • Racing thoughts

  • A sense of impending doom

  • Difficulties with concentrating

  • Increased heart rate

  • Shortness of breath

  • Trembling, sweating, muscle tension

  • Avoiding situation that trigger fear or worry

  • Sleep disturbances

Common Mood Symptoms

Mood disorders such as depression, primarily impact your baseline energy, interest, and emotional regulation, symptoms can include but are not limited to:

  • Feelings of hopelessness and worthlessness

  • Difficulties making decisions

  • Feeling tearful

  • Fatigue, body aches, headaches

  • Isolating from others and loved ones

  • Loss of interest in previously enjoyed activities

  • Sleep disturbances
